FLUTE
Flute classes covering baroque, classical, modern and contemporary repertoire.
Specific sessions on basic aspects of the flute technique: posture (based on the Alexander Technique), breathing, sound projection, and articulation technique.
Special classes on contemporary flute notation and extended techniques.
Classes for beginners "flute and music making", involving movement, musical games and creation of ones own music notation.
Alessandra Rombolá is currently teaching Flute at the Professional Conservatoire "Victoria de los Ángeles", Madrid, Spain.

IMPROVISATION
Workshops and yearly courses on improvisation, involving use of open notation, graphic scores, structured, conducted and free improvisations.
The courses are focused on developing creative skills, active listening of the musical material and interaction between musicians.
Classes comprises experimenting "new" instrumental techniques and how to integrate them in the conventional use of the instrument in order to discover different ways of creating/composing music. No previous experience required. From small groups up to a full orchestra. All instruments.

Alessandra Rombolá has been giving improvisation workshops at the following Schools and Conservatoires:
-Yearly course at the "Escuela de Música "Maese Pedro", Madrid, (2003-2004)
-Annual course at "Escuela de Música Prolat", Madrid, (2005)
- "Conservatorio Profesional de Música", Alcalá de Henares (year 2002 and 2006).
-"Conservatorio Profesional de Música", Segovia (2006).
-Conservatorio Profesional de Música "Joaquín Turina", Madrid (2007)
-Workshop at Escuela de Música "Afinarte", Madrid (2011)
