Zona de Tránsito

The ensemble “Zona de Tránsito” represents the development of a previous project which started in year 2000 under the name “MovableDo”. The group is the result of the original idea of creating a flexible group of artists, free of all kind of hierarchy, dedicated to the performance of the latest musical compositions in collaboration with other forms of art. Based in Madrid, the group has already performed at important festivals and concert spaces. Performances comprise music and dance action, free improvisation, contemporary music, graphic scores, including the performance of “Treatise” by Cornelius Cardew.
